ADO-SGV — Association of Development Officers, San Gabriel Valley

A peer group of fundraising professionals in greater Pasadena and west San Gabriel Valley. Real fundraising conversation, shared experience, and good company.

Who we are

Fundraisers, in the same room, on purpose.

ADO-SGV began with a simple idea: fundraising professionals are stronger when they are connected. In 2022, two local development professionals envisioned a network where colleagues could share ideas, learn from one another, and build relationships across the nonprofit community. The idea gained momentum, and in April 2023, representatives from six organizations gathered for the first meeting.

Today the group includes more than 50 development professionals across greater Pasadena and the west San Gabriel Valley, with 15 to 20 typically at each gathering. No dues, no formality for its own sake: a standing table where the people who do this work trade what actually works, workshop what is hard, and know each other before they need each other.

Meetings

Every other month, around the Valley.

We meet on the third Tuesday of every other month at 3:00 PM, rotating between video calls and in-person gatherings hosted around the San Gabriel Valley.

Next meeting: Wednesday, September 16, 2026 — in person ArtCenter College of Design, South Campus — 1111 S. Arroyo Parkway, 4th Floor Alumni Center, Pasadena. Park in the surface lot at 950 S. Raymond Ave.
